PRESIDENT
The President of the North Woods Conservancy is the Chief Executive Officer and has general responsibility for the functioning of the NWC. The President provides broad leadership and direction, speaks for the Conservancy, and represents it to the general public and appropriate outside groups. This is a volunteer position; the NWC President receives no material benefit or compensation.
John T. Griffith Mr. Griffith has been the volunteer President of the NWC since it was founded in 1992. Mr. Griffith is a conservation biologist who owns and operates a biological research and recovery firm with his wife Jane C. Griffith.
