GOVERNORS
The North Woods Conservancy is governed by a five-member volunteer Board of Governors elected by the NWC Members at the annual meeting.
The current Board members are:
Jeff Crumbaugh Mr. Crumbaugh is an educator, avid silent sports enthusiast, and naturalist.
Jane C. Griffith Ms. Griffith is a conservation biologist and co-founder of the NWC.
John T. Griffith Mr. Griffith is a conservation biologist and author, and co-founder of the NWC.
Michael Kroenke Mr. Kroenke is a UW Extension Lake Superior Basin Educator at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center.
Robert L. Pence Mr. Pence is a nationally recognized wildlife and landscape artist whose original oil paintings and writing reflect his passion for and understanding of the environment.
